Dear Colleagues,
I hope this finds you well and rested after the bank holiday weekend. I am writing to share some exciting news about the Journal of Learning Development in Higher Education (JLDHE).
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new website, which has been designed to provide an enhanced experience for our valued readers, authors, and reviewers.
The new website will serve as the central hub for all JLDHE activities, offering a range of improved features and functionalities including a modern, intuitive interface, and improved search capabilities. It enables us to provide much more content about the Journal and its activity, highlights of which include:
- Support for writers via a range of how-to guides related to the development of writing for publication.
- More effective communication between the JLDHE Editorial Board and the journal’s readers, authors and reviewers via the News pages.
- Celebration and promotion of our authors in a variety of ways, including the top 20 most downloaded papers in the past 12 months, the Article of the Year Award, and a video gallery.
While the new website takes centre stage, our existing platform PKP will continue to serve an important purpose. It will now be solely dedicated to paper submissions and providing access to our current and past issues. This separation of functionalities will help us maintain a seamless and efficient editorial process.
As always, we remain committed to upholding the highest standards of academic rigour and providing a space for the exchange of innovative ideas in learning and teaching in higher education. With this mission in mind, we will continue to evolve and expand the website’s offerings, adding new avenues for engaging with our authors and enriching the overall experience for our readers. We encourage you to explore the new website and, if you have any questions or feedback, to contact me or the JLDHE team. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to the Journal. We look forward to welcoming you in our new digital home.
On behalf of the entire Editorial Board,
With very best wishes,
Alicja, Co-Lead Editor
