  • An ability to commit to a 2-year tenure, with a possibility of extending it for a longer period.
  • A commitment to research integrity and ethical publishing practices.
  • Some research and editorial experience will be an advantage.

Depending on the role (Assistant or Section Editor), the editorial responsibilities at JLDHE might include:

  • Building the journal’s community of contributors and reviewers.
  • Attending monthly editorial team meetings (online).
  • Acting as a liaison between the journal and the broader community, including identifying promising contributors, commissioning articles, and promoting the journal.
  • Contributing to developing strategies to grow the journal and enhance its position in and beyond the Learning Development community.

While being a member of the Editorial Board is a voluntary position, there are many benefits of joining our team, including:

  • Gaining insider knowledge of the publishing process.
  • Expanding your professional network.
  • Enhancing your CV with prestigious editorial experience.
  • Making a meaningful contribution to your field of practice.
